Aug. 16, 06. On July 1, Police Chief Chuck Nettestad celibrated 20 years as Alexandria's police chief and he put in his resignation recently. He has 31 years in the force overall. “I haven’t exactly kept my retirement a secret,” said Chief Nettestad. What will he do after retirement? "“That’s the secret!” he said. -Joe Carrier
