The Minnesota Department of Education announced Advanced Placement (AP) grants have recently been awarded to 14 schools across the state-- one of which is the Alexandria Jefferson High School who got a $36,750 cut of the grant pie.
Earlier in the year, Gov. Tim Pawlenty announced the availability of the grants for schools interested in starting or expanding these Advance Placement courses and programs that aims to raise academic achievement for students all across the state.
